In 1986 I was 16 years old and visiting Stockton on my folk's boat. I took advantage of the time to wander around town with my camera in search of trains. Nowdays I won't let my 17 year old son out of my site while trackside. But I'm sure 25 years ago the area around Stockton Tower was safe. Right? Photos were taken with my fully-manual Canon FT, which I was just learning. Glad this one came out decent, as most trains north of Bakersfield during this era were powered by sets of GP30's and GP35's. |
